Connecting families through art, nature and physical activity as natural antidotes to screen time

How we do it

We bring parents, children and communities together to enjoy accessible, wholesome family activities. Our core value is to displace screen time by providing more things for children and parents to do together. We have identified art, nature and physical activity as key ingredients in the recipe to reduce a person's screen time. Our sessions are non-judgmental and welcoming - with a gentle emphasis on forming better device habits. There's no preaching or pressure - just good-old-fashioned Phone Free Family Fun.

We need to remember how much fun can be had when we put our devices down and pick our heads up. This programme promotes and celebrates traditional storytelling as an age-old device for human entertainment and connection.

Families who move together, groove together. That's why we provide activities which give parents and children regular  opportunities to exercise together. This particularly helps parents of very young children who often report that they struggle to find time for exercise.

There is a growing body of evidence supporting the need for outdoor education, and outdoor play. Our art in nature sessions provide families with opportunities to enjoy creative activities delivered by professional artists in beautiful, natural spaces.

Empty pockets and open minds. We rarely feel completely free nowadays because we are always connected to our devices. These walks are designed for families to completely unplug and embark on a professionally guided adventure with fun activities en route for kids.

Our work is not just about children - it's about parents, too. We are striving to create a strong, supportive community of parents who are keen to spend time with their children, and other families, engaging with art, nature and physical activity - and away from screens.
